Recreating the atmosphere and spatial qualities of a typical Karst village for contemporary living is the main ambition of this pilot project. A critical stance towards recent ‘rural’ developments in the area lead us to rethink the ownership, orientation, enclosure, access and sharing. Learning from the anonymous but well integrated, we propose a contemporary village with ‘modern’ living and ‘traditional’ characteristics.
